Your family's information belongs to you. We do not sell it, share it, or use it to advertise to you. We make money through subscriptions, not your data. That is the model, and that is the point.
We collect the information you give us when you create an account (your name and email), and the information you choose to store in Tend (family notes, gift history, reminders, and similar). We also collect standard usage data to keep the service working.
We use your information to provide you with the service you signed up for. That is it. We do not analyze your family's data for advertising purposes. We do not build profiles to sell. We do not share your information with third parties except where strictly required to operate the service (for example, our payment processor handles billing — they never see your family information).
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We take security seriously because this is personal information. If you ever have concerns, email us.
You can export all your data at any time. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. You are in control of your information. Always.
